Planning tips & FAQ
When’s the best time for taking cinematic photos in London?
I like to host my sessions in the early morning (sunrise in the winter months) or 1-2 hours before sunset. London is a busy place, and some areas are only recommended during the early hours (6-8am). This includes any iconic or landmark areas like Westminster Bridge, Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus. Other areas, the best time to get cinematic lighting is just before sunset.

Do we need a permit for London photography?
Many areas in London are privately owned. While photographing with handheld cameras for personal use is usually accepted in most public areas, it is recommended check if permission is required. If you are unsure, I am usually keyed up on all the places that require permits or fees so feel free to ask! I cannot accept photographing in a location that requires a permit without written proof of permission.
How do you capture us in London?
In my shoots, there’s no pressure to pose perfectly or “perform” for the camera. Instead, I’ll guide you with prompts and movements so you can interact naturally - laughing, exploring, and just being yourselves.
My work is all about emotion, connection, fun and storytelling. That means we’ll likely move around a lot, embrace the environment, and lean into whatever makes your session feel real and personal to you. We won't be thinking about the camera!
