A little look into what to expect when booking me for your elopement/wedding.

Consultation

Before booking, I will arrange a brief phone or video call with you to talk about your plans and what you're looking for in a photographer. This is to determine if we are a good fit for each other! Please make sure you've read through my FAQs and prices and check that my style is 100% what you're looking for!

Booking Process

Once we're both happy, I will send you a contract to sign along with your booking deposit. Once these have been signed and paid for you will officially be booked in - let the countdown begin!

Pre-Wedding Questionnaire

A month before the wedding I will ask you to complete a questionnaire to cover all important names, timings, locations and photo requests. It's important to be as detailed as possible.

Day of the Wedding

On the day, I will arrive promptly our chosen starting point i.e prep, first looks or the ceremony. I will use WhatsApp to message you when I arrive so please make sure there is someone to meet me!

For documentary images I will follow you around in a non-obstructive way and capture genuine moments between you and your loved ones. I love chatting to guests and joining in with the celebrations!

For couples images I will take you and your partner away from your guests for a brief moment. I will suggest movements, positions and ways to interact based on your preferences i.e running along the street, lift and spins, walking holding hands, embracing, slow dancing and having a laugh. I will also get close ups and details shots at this moment! I apply 0 pressure to these images and my couples and I always have a great time!

For family formals I will work through your given list of group shots after the ceremony.

Editing Style

My editing style is nostalgic, natural and unrefined that mirrors how the day actually looked. You can expect some changes to colour depending on how the light looks on the day. Lush greens, warm golden's and dusky blues, as well as grain and blur, all play a part in my edit. Some examples of the types of colours you can expect below. There is usually 50% colour and 50% black and white.

Delivery

Images usually take two weeks to get back to you. After the wedding, your images will go into edit then post-production which involves selecting the best images, cinematic colouring, cropping and light retouching if requested. You will receive your online gallery and password through whichever method we have communicated on, providing all payments have been made. RAW images can be purchased but must be agreed upon in advance.
